Jet Aviation Sorocaba Completes Large Inspection on a Gulfstream G200, Receives ANAC Repair Station Approval for G500, G550, GIV AircraftJet Aviation Sorocaba announced the completion of its first large inspection on a Gulfstream G200. In addition, the company received repair station approval from the National Civil Aviation Authority in Brazil, Agência Nacional de Aviaçâo Civil (ANAC), permitting Jet Aviation to provide line maintenance services on Gulfstream G500, G550 and GIV aircraft. Completing its first large inspection on a Gulfstream G200 aircraft, the technicians at Jet Aviation Sorocaba worked in close cooperation with a Gulfstream supervisor, who supported the team during the inspection. “These new Gulfstream approvals significantly increase our service offerings and are testament to our ability to meet the needs of our customers,” said Norbert Ehrich, senior vice president and general manager of Jet Aviation’s Sorocaba facility. “I’m very proud of the team in successfully completing its first large inspection on a G200 aircraft to the full satisfaction of the client." Jet Aviation Sorocaba, Brazil, was established in 2009 and is located at Sorocaba Airport (SOD), some 87 kilometers (54 miles) from the city center of São Paulo. The location is an ANAC approved repair station for Gulfstream G200, GIV, G500 and G550 aircraft. The 2,229-square-meter (24,000-square-foot) hangar facility, which includes a VIP lounge and private offices, has been fully remodeled to accommodate the maintenance business and offer hangar lease arrangements for business jets clients. Aircraft management and charter brokerage services are also available at the facility.
