InterJet Announces ISO 14001:2004 Certification

Organization DQS GmbH (Deutsche Gesellschaft zur Zertifizierung von Managementsystemen) for the Environmental Management System applied to its aviation and tourism enterprises.

An independent audit, documented in a report, verified that InterJet's Environmental Management System fulfills the requirements of the standard ISO14001-2004, which is set up to establish a common reference for companies to comply with applicable environmental legislation and regulations.

InterJet is the first aviation company in Greece that has been certified with an ISO14001:2004 Certification for an applied Environmental Management System. These standards demonstrate that InterJet has not only the processes to identify and control the environmental impact of its activities and services but also an implemented systematic approach to set and demonstrate environmental objectives and targets.
