Gama Aviation, Inc. Announces Helicopter-Based City Hop Program Connecting Boston to Manhattan, Cape Cod and Islands
Apr 22, 2009 9:18 AM
Gama Aviation announced its new City Hop program, using a Boston-based Agusta A109 helicopter to provide convenient access to Manhattan’s downtown airports, as well as to Cape Cod and the Islands.
“The City Hop program is designed to introduce our Boston based clients to the convenience of a helicopter to get them right into downtown Manhattan,” said Scott Ashton, Vice President of Business Development. He also said that the convenience of the City Hop allows their clients direct access to the downtown Manhattan airports so that they do not have to use a business jet for a short-cycle flight to an airport that is still a 45-minute drive from their final destinations.
"The Hop Program provides the quickest way from Boston to Manhattan or to the Cape and Islands, whether you are going to Broadway or the Boardroom, or to Chatham or Chilmark,” Ashton said.
In addition to the City Hop program, Gama has also announced the Island Hop, which connects Boston to area islands. With the Agusta A109, in less than 90 minutes from departure, clients can be at their destinations with no drive time, no traffic and no hassle. With the Gama Aviation Island Hop Program, Boston users have easy access to out-of-the-way islands, such as Cuttyhunk, Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. Western Massachusetts, Providence and New Hampshire are quickly within reach without battling traffic or using expensive short cycles on corporate aircraft.
Gama Aviation has introduced the City Hop program with low, fixed introductory pricing, inclusive of all taxes and fees. For a limited time, Gama is also waiving fuel surcharges for the A109 for all other destinations.
