FAI rent-a-jet AG, Germany, has announced the acquisition of a 60 percent stake in Swiss Challenger Operator Nomad Aviation AG, Switzerland, at an undisclosed purchase price.
FAI's Chairman Siegfried Axtmann said that from April on, Nomad Aviation AG would offer its services under the new brand FAI-Executive, operated by Nomad Aviation. "This new label, originating from the already well-known brand FAI, stands for Swiss precision combined with German reliability," Axtmann said.
In the near future, FAI will bundle most of its activities in High End Executive Charter and Aircraft Management within its new Swiss subsidiary, while FAI-Germany will focus on Air Ambulance and NGO-Contract Services.
The cooperation of FAI Executive, operated by Nomad Aviation and FAI Germany, will provide Nomad's VIP customers with a wider selection of prime executive aircraft, while FAI Germany will off a well established long-range aircraft type, a factory-new DA 900, to its clientele.
Rainer Schnurr and Claude Neumeyer of Nomad Aviation AG said that their ideas not only pointed on their synergies, but also that they focused on the mutual benefits, services and experiences their valued customers gained through their close cooperation.
The FAI Group is Europe's leading Bombardier Business jet family operator, flying more than 10 Bombardier Business Jets (including LearJet 35A, LearJet 55, LearJet 60 and Challenger 604). They also offer an unmatched background, experience and selection of executive jets in every size, operate worldwide and offer sound and solid ambulance flights, NGO charter or VIP services.
