Arrindell Aviation to Celebrate 20th Anniversary with Gala and Fundraiser in St. Maarten

Arrindell Aviation, the FBO at Princess Juliana International Airport in St. Maarten, Netherland Antilles, will culminate its 20th anniversary year celebration with a gala fundraising event on November 6. Distinguished guests of the community as well as clients of Arrindell Aviation will enjoy an evening of food, wine and philanthropy at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort.

The event will help kick-off A.S.P.I.R.E., which stands for Arrindell: Supporting, Promoting, Inspiring and Rewarding Youth in Education. Frank Arrindell, President and Founder of Arrindell Aviation, is the brainchild of A.S.P.I.R.E., an event conceived solely to help support The Unity Foundation in St. Maarten.

The Unity Foundation was created to foster an interest in learning in St. Maarten youth through technology. Frank Arrindell bought a computer for Franchesca when she was eight years old — a Commodore 128.

“I was hooked from the start,” said Franchesca. “Back then no one had a personal computer at home. Today however, children are at a serious disadvantage in this world without basic computer skills.”

Franchesca started the school to help make sure every child on the island of St. Maarten would know how to use a computer and enjoy using one. The education of St. Maarten’s children is the goal of the Unity Foundation.

The affair will be one to remember as black-tie-clad invitees dine on fabulous food and dance to the lively Mystic Roots Band. Later in the evening guests will have an opportunity to bid on a very unique collection of auction items to help raise money for the Unity Foundation. Some of these auction items include:
