ARGUS Unveils Market Intelligence Product Designed Specifically for FBOs TRAQPak FBO One-Stop Source of Strategic Information

ARGUS International, Inc. (ARGUS), well known for its monthly TRAQPak Business Aircraft Activity Report, has developed a new web-based, aircraft movement intelligence tool. Expanding on source data that is compiled and filtered utilizing ARGUS’ TRAQPak methodology, TRAQPak FBO is an integrated source of operational, financial and contact information related to aircraft movements at any airport within the reach of the U.S. Air Traffic Control system.

“For years, we have been compiling and analyzing an enormous amount of air traffic data drawn from the FAA related to aircraft movements through the U.S. Air Traffic Control system,” said Joe Moeggenberg, ARGUS President and CEO. “We understood that this data could be turned into information that would be extremely valuable to FBOs as they strive to compete in today’s marketplace. As a market research company by background, we conducted extensive research amongst the FBO community relative to what information they wanted, and the result of that feedback is our new TRAQPak FBO offering.”

TRAQPak FBO is a real-time flight tracking web portal with fully integrated functionality driven by FlightView® near real-time air traffic information, JETNET® owner/operator contact information, and ARGUS TRAQPak historic activity data and analysis. TRAQPak data is serial-number specific aircraft arrival and departure information on all IFR flights in the US (including Alaska and Hawaii).

Before launching TRAQPak FBO, ARGUS surveyed FBOs around the country to determine what features and tools they would consider most important as a subscriber to this product. FBOs surveyed included independents, multi-location small chains and multi-location large chains. Survey participants were asked a variety of questions relative to their operations and their interests in a product like TRAQPak, including ranking key features in order of importance.

“The customer, in this case, FBOs, spoke and we listened,” said Shirley Mason, ARGUS Vice President and the product manager for all TRAQPak products and services. “TRAQPak FBO incorporates all the features that the FBOs told us they wanted in an aircraft tracking and analysis program.”

TRAQPak FBO provides vetted flight movement data from ARGUS combined with FlightView’s real time flight tracking (with weather radar overlay) and highly accurate aircraft owner/operator contact information powered by JETNET. TRAQPak allows customers to monitor live airport arrival and departure information, code aircraft with custom meanings unique to their operation, review flight history data of specific aircraft, determine aircraft base information, check anticipated fuel purchase estimates for each aircraft and view activity at other airports. Additionally, individual FBOs can run custom queries based on the information that is most important to them.
