ARGUS Promotes Benefits of Flight Safety Foundation

PRISM, a wholly-owned subsidiary of ARGUS International, is pleased to announce it will now sponsor the first year’s corporate membership in the Flight Safety Foundation for each new PRISM SMS Professional or Enterprise subscriber. PRISM SMS is a comprehensive package of products and services that can be customized to meet the specific SMS requirements of any operation and is completely IS-BAO compliant. Four different levels of packages are available as on-going subscriptions: Basic, Essential, Professional and Enterprise.

“Flight Safety Foundation is a valuable resource for the aviation industry,” said ARGUS CEO Joe Moeggenberg. “As part of our continuing commitment to safety, we are pleased to offer our new PRISM Professional and Enterprise customers the opportunity to benefit from the efforts of the Flight Safety Foundation as they work tirelessly in their pursuit of improving global aviation safety.”

PRISM SMS offers a constructed pathway to ease the burden of compliance and improve the effectiveness of a flight operation. PRISM understands the 24/7/365 nature of the aviation industry and has developed ARMOR, a web-based tool that provides operators with a system that all employees can gain required access to at any time, while allowing the safety officer the ability to manage all elements of their SMS from a laptop and internet connection from anywhere around the world.

“Flight Safety Foundation and PRISM both share the same goal of providing the global aviation community with valuable information and tools that can improve safety and prevent accidents,” said Flight Safety Foundation President and CEO Bill Voss. "Developing, implementing and maintaining a superior SMS is much easier for operators with the guidance provided by a system like PRISM. This complements our mission of enhancing aviation safety around the world.”

“We continue to look for opportunities that will provide customers with additional value and resources,” said Moeggenberg. “In the past year we have partnered with Sagem to offer Flight Data Analysis as well as with FlightSafety International to offer their customers Preferred Access to PRISM. We are now very pleased to provide customers with the additional safety resources provided by Flight Safety Foundation.”

Flight Safety Foundation is an independent, non-profit, international organization engaged in research, auditing, education, advocacy and publishing to improve aviation safety. The Foundation’s mission is to pursue the continuous improvement of global aviation safety and the prevention of accidents.
