Arab Wings Successfully Establishes Joint Venture Afaq Holding Company in Bahrain

Arab Wings, one of the leading private and luxury aviation corporations in Jordan, announced the signing of a joint venture agreement for the establishment of “Afaq Holding,” a specialized aviation brokerage firm with a concentration on investing in various services within the aviation industry. A group of leading Saudi investors with vast ventures in the region is partnering with Arab Wings in this agreement.

Global Wings is Afaq Holding’s first operating arm, complementing the endeavors and aviation expertise brought forward by its sister companies, Arab Wings Private Charters, the Royal Jordanian Air Academy, Queen Noor Civil Aviation Technical College and Gulf Wings, recently established and headquartered in the UAE.

“We are ecstatic about this new venture, which puts us in the center of the region as a leading aviation service provider,” said Ahmad Abu Ghalaleh, the Vice Chairman and CEO of Global Wings. “We can comfortably state that now we are a prominent player serving the expanding market of executive and larger charter passenger travel. Haitham Al Muzayyen, representing the prominent investors in Afaq Holding, emphasized the importance of facing the challenge of the economic crisis through a strong vision, and, with the proper strategy, a continuous strive to enter new markets.
