Leading Air Ambulance Provider AERO JET INTERNATIONAL Awarded Prestigious EURAMI Accreditation

AERO JET INTERNATIONAL, a leader in international healthcare transportation based in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., announces that the organization has been awarded the prestigious EURAMI Accreditation – the only accreditation in the aero-medical transportation field that is recognized the world over as a symbol of excellence.

“EURAMI accreditation is a significant milestone in the organization’s 12-year legacy of doing everything first-class because it’s the first time the organization is receiving worldwide recognition for excellence in its field of international aero-medical transportation," said AERO JET’s Director of Marketing, Dawn Cerbone. "You just couldn’t ask for anything more rewarding for the years of effort our entire team has invested in consistently striving for excellence!”

AERO JET’s Mission, of which it is understandably proud, is …
… to consistently surpass the needs and expectations of our patients, their loved ones, their medical care providers, and all medical, health and aeronautical regulatory agencies in our organization’s delivery of safe, efficient, professional and individually-tailored air ambulance transport services.

Stuttgart-based EURAMI – European Aero-Medical Institute e.V. – was founded in 1992 and rapidly became formally recognized as the “European Association of Aero-Medical Professionals & Organizations (Fixed-Wing and Rotor-Wing).” Its focus is primarily directed toward education, information, research and supply. “EURAMI is a nonprofit association of air medical professionals and operators from 27 countries within and outside Europe, aiming to promote air rescue and to develop and harmonize quality standards and to improve patient care and safety in air medical transports.

In its quest to achieve EURAMI Accreditation, AERO JET INTERNATIONAL had to consent to a site visit, inspection, assessment and evaluation performed by a EURAMI Board Member-Auditor. Quoting from EURAMI's published Accreditation materials, “EURAMI Accreditation Standards are periodically revised criteria to assess an Air Medical Service’s level of quality in terms of capabilities, medical management and qualifications, aircraft configuration and equipment, operational issues, communications, management policies, quality management and other specific requirements for fixed wing or rotor wing aircraft.”

With its operations in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., now EURAMI-Accredited, AERO JET INTERNATIONAL is already moving forward with plans to acquire its third Learjet 35, which will be specially-equipped for trans-Atlantic air medical transports.
