Queensland Renews Government Contract With Independent Aviation
The Queensland Government recently announced that the air charter brokerage services arrangement for the whole-of-Queensland Government (Standing Offer Arrangement Number QGCPO-609) with Independent Aviation has been renewed for a further two years. The Standing Offer Arrangement facilitates a wide range of charter services across the State. As well as passenger aircraft charter, providing essential Government services, the arrangement also covers the management of helicopter operations for a number of Queensland Government departments. This includes specialised and specific aerial work operations and other non-passenger charters, such as surveys, aerial photography and emergency freight deliveries and support to remote communities. Established in 1989, Independent Aviation is one of Australia’s largest air charter brokers with a particular expertise in the provision of charter services to remote and regional areas in small and medium sized aircraft.
