Jet Access Aviation acquires Arcadia Aviation 1/11/2011Jet Access Aviation, a worldwide aircraft charter sales and Management Company, announces today that it has finalized the acquisition of Arcadia Aviation. Jet Access Aviation has acquired all assets of the company through this transition. However, the two FBO’s (fixed base operations) and the Part 145 Repair station were not part of the acquisition. There is no mention of how much the deal was worth but it took well over 6 months to complete. The combined company, which will be called Jet Access Aviation, will preserve and enhance Arcadia’s industry leading operation and its attention to customer service. The two industry leading companies will have one of the most experienced management and operation teams in the industry. Together they bring both professional financial management and aircraft expertise to business aviation. The combined business, in addition to charter and aircraft management services, will also offer a respected aircraft sales and charter brokerage service. Jack E. Lambert, Jr. President of Jet Access Aviation said, “I am very proud of the work our team has done to make this transition a smooth one. The feedback we have received from the aviation community has been positive, reflecting the respect that exists both for Jet Access Aviation and the Arcadia operation we have acquired.” “We believe this acquisition allows Jet Access to fill an important niche in the industry – namely an aircraft management company that is non-traditional in its approach by being more creative and thinking outside the box”, explained Lambert. “Coupling Arcadia’s experience and reputation for service with Jet Access Aviations’ history as an innovator in private jet utilization is a natural fit for the customers who have counted on Arcadia and Jet Access Aviation”, said Shawn Honaker, CEO of Jet Access Aviation. “This acquisition is an important step for our future and we are very excited about the opportunity.” Tom Mealie, the VP of Maintenance Operations said “Arcadia has always had outstanding Operational programs and with the combination of Jet Access’ management abilities, we can bring a complete management solution to the table”. Mealie also stated “We have been extremely busy adding aircraft to the certificate, including a Citation 650 as well as a Lear 31.” Jet Access Aviation’s customers and partners in the aviation industry can look forward to the same excellent level of service and professionalism they have grown accustomed to. The acquisition will offer them the added benefit of Arcadia Aviation’s industry leading aircraft management and charter infrastructure.
