San Antonio’s FlighTime Business Jets Receives exclusive FAA Air Charter Certification

Culminating 3 years of effort and coordination with the Federal Aviation Administration, San Antonio’s own FlighTime Business Jets has received FAA certification as a “Part 135-On Demand” Air Carrier, paving the way to become the largest business jet and corporate aircraft operator in South Texas. FlighTime currently manages a fleet of Citation business jets, King Air turboprop, and high-performance Cirrus sport aircraft. As a result of this certification, FlighTime plans to continue its exciting growth, adding larger mid-size jet aircraft, personnel, and clients.

The FAA part 135 approval allows the flying public to work directly with FlighTime for charter, fractional ownership, and managed aircraft services.

FlighTime has been in business for ten years, operating under the umbrella certificates of other Air Carriers, receiving FAA Part 135 certificate QF7A042L for On-Demand Travel in May 2008. FlighTime’s main offices and fleet of Citation, King Air, and Cirrus aircraft are located at San Antonio’s International Airport at the Hallmark/ Million Air Jet Center. Through its exclusive aircraft and facility access, FlighTime offers a broad range of private aircraft services, including 24 hour dispatching, full concierge services, partnership management, business jet leasing and sales and medical/transplant team transportation. FlighTime currently employs 16 people, including airline transport pilots, dispatchers and full-time maintenance technicians on staff. FlighTime’s fleet is maintained at a high degree of readiness and line maintenance services are available for other aircraft as well.
